I've created a new art blog on Tumblr.

You may notice a lot of sketches, WIPS, and other unfinished work along with the finished ones. A lot of not good drawings as well as good. This is on purpose as not all drawings created by artists are by default "great" or even "good." It takes time and practice to get to that point. So this blog, unlike my website or even DA gallery, will have more WIPS, sketches, than any other online site I place artwork in. Because I believe that artwork should be exposed, that people should see artists for what they are: an ever developing being of process, not finished work.

We are not perfect. We do not always create works of art that are complete masterpieces. Most of these, for aspiring and growing artists, don't come often. Masterpieces take skill, time, and patience to create. Unfortunately these days I have less time than I'd like, but I'll be doin' me best.

Thank you for reading and looking at my art. :)

LOOKING FOR FAIL:
I recently found out that Adobe was giving out Photoshop CS2 for free, which is fortunate as I was unable to find my copy after my laptop fried. I'll still need to re-set up everything, though. It's been busy as hell, which has left me no time for comics, much less art. Once we're out of busy season and I might get a chance to breathe. I've been thinking a lot about the art style of the comic and where I'd like for it to go next. Before I had focused on quantity to get myself to draw faster, but it ended up feeling like a chore. So now I'm rethinking my steps in how to produce a better comic.

So we'll see! Keep your hats together! It's been a bumpy ride but there ain't no stoppin' yet!

...someone that actually pays for adobe products? :O_o:

lol, honestly it's kinda refreshing to find an artist that's willing ta buy it.
**Most just pirate the newest version from thepiratebay/torrents.

Nice gallery btw ^_^

After the cloud system came out I've more or less decided to never buy Adobe products again. They have a monopoly on the market and I think it's unfair to growing artists who don't have the money to buy top-of-the-line programs to fuel their art and imagination. Many times these artists resort to piracy in order to be in sync with the this evolving world.

Kinda unfair IMO. I tried using GIMP but I'm not that big of a fan of it. Fire Alpaca doesn't have text tools (or any ones I can see) so I'm debating on how I want to go about that.

Ah, I gotcha.

Personally, I use the money I make off of my tutorials
to upgrade my tech. (not much these days tho) while using
commission money to pay the bills.

Honestly tho, I agree with ya..
**the combined cost of someone wanting to get into 3D/CG animation
(buying all the software I currently use) is upwards of $10,000.

Hence why so many people I know, simply pirate it rather than put
themselves in debt or do without.

Some of the younger crowd have it a bit easier (the ones that still
live with their parents) as they can learn in their spare time with
pirated stuff.. then do commissions to eventually buy legit versions
of the software.

I know a few that've done that by making hentai stuff. :D
**Sex sells retardedly well tbh.

Anywho, looking forward to the League Summer Split next week?
